Justification: The City ADA Curb Ramp Transition Plan (2009) requires construction / rehabilitation of curb ramps at every street corner. The City must install at least 500 curb ramps annually to keep pace with this 30-year transition plan. Infill and on-call programs provide access along prioritized corridors and as needed by individuals with disabilities. The project increases access and safety for older adults and persons with disabilities.
